I have worked in Health and social care for 28 years I enjoy being person-centered in my work which means I work in a way that you find most full filling ie the way that you do any aspect of care, I like to take care as fun as possible to help make the persons day a happy one, so you can trust me and build a professional relationship.
I enjoy making the individual day better to make an individual smile is most important, alongside making opportunities happen. I also feel that health promotion and gaining access to health care is crucial to a person's individual holistic care needs. you're a person first and have worked in a person-centered, I also believe in the 6 c's of care, for me care and compassion and commitment are most important. I believe that therapies are curiacal in area such as pain relife and relasation, i have a level four in massage and the know of how to access local support, and activities.
I have worked in Health care all of my life with 28 Years of experience, its in my family history. I have worked with adults and young adults with learning disabilities, acquired brain injury, and complex care needs, and many individuals have had multiple cares needs such as learning disabilities, epilepsy, and communication difficulties. Over the last few years i have also worked with adults with dementia, mental health and people who are aging who needs lighter support like help with making lunch or light house work, ive worked as learning disability nurse so have skills of working on individual risk assessments and working along side other health care proffessionlas and family memebers treating each individual with respect.
